Eivind Lorgen is a former global asset management CEO and Founder and Chair Emeritus of the ISSB Investor Advisory Board under the IFRS Foundation. His career has been defined by leadership in institutional capital formation, regulated fund platforms, and fiduciary governance across global capital markets.

He previously served as CEO & President of Nordea Asset Management North America and held global leadership responsibilities spanning alternatives, manager selection, and operating oversight. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, insurance institutions, family offices, nonprofit capital pools, and institutional distributors across North America and Europe.

Today, he advises investment managers, boards, platform sponsors, nonprofit organizations, and foundations on institutional positioning, governance architecture, regulated fund design, and middle-market transactions. His advisory work is grounded in capital discipline, structural integrity, and long-term institutional credibility.

He also lectures on sustainable finance and capital markets at IE University (New York) and the University of Denver, and periodically serves as a guest lecturer at Columbia University.
